We were delighted to welcome Revd James Williams in his new role as priest-in-charge at a special service in the afternoon of 23rd March. The licensing was undertaken on behalf of the Acting Bishop of Worcester by Rt Revd Anthony Priddis, with the Venerable Mark Badger (Archdeacon of Worcester) preaching and Revd Gary Crellin, Area Dean, holding the service together.

Greetings from the community were brought by the deputy mayor of Malvern , Cllr David Mead, on behalf of our district and county wards by Cllr Natalie McVey, plus the heads of all three of the church schools in the parish, and rounded off by Geoff Richardson, chair of Churches Together in Malvern.

We expressed our joy that James and Sarah (plus Henry) are all staying in the parish to share in our mission to spread love, compassion, and understanding, and share the light of Christ with those around us.

After the service, a bountiful reception was held in the Link Room, where members of the congregations and community had the opportunity to share in fellowship with each other, extending a warm welcome from all our guests.
