Angel Kits

Children in the parish are creating a thousand angels to decorate the three churches this Christmas. ‘Angel kits’ have been assembled and delivered to four schools, where the children can now get creative.

‘It’s a great chance to get into the Christmas spirit’ says Sarah Maxfield-Phillips from MLWC. ‘We’re hoping that the children will use all their skills to make each angel unique.

We’ve provided a range of ‘angel hair’ donated by our congregation – it’s all the odds and ends of wool from knitting projects, ranging from sparkly gold, through pink, blue and black – a whole rainbow and more!’. Once they’ve been made, the angels will be displayed in the churches.
